One of our favorite parts of the wedding process is definitely the engagement session! Most of our clients book us over the phone or by email so it’s always fun to finally meet our couples in person! Meet Kristen & David! They booked us last November so we’ve been chatting for a while now and we were super excited to finally meet them face to face. Kristen is such a sweetheart so I knew David would be too… and of course they were. 🙂 These two live in Chicago, IL but will be getting married this September here in Michigan. We shot their session here in Grand Rapids at Kristen’s family home and then headed downtown for a few fun city looks!

Hello, Hello!! I know it’s been a while since I last blogged and I know I say every year that I am going to keep this blog up to date (I truly do have the best intention) but to be completely honest, it’s sometimes really hard to find the time. Seriously, once wedding season starts I feel like the entire year ends up being one big blur!!! With that being said, we promise we will never stop trying… 😉 and I will continue to make the same resolution every year because we are so incredibly grateful for all our amazing clients and everyone who follows and supports our dream! 🙂 We truly have THE BEST CLIENTS EVER!!

Ok, ok… now to the good stuff. 🙂 Meet Kaitlyn & Mike! This gorgeous couple is getting married next year here in Grand Rapids, MI and we are SOOO excited for their wedding! When I first spoke to Kaitlyn I knew right away she was awesome! Ok. So, Kaitlyn really wanted this shot…. ummm yeah, this made me really nervous! I’m personally super freaked out by heights and the 2nd level of this fire escape looked a little wobbly…. BUT, Mike was so AWESOME and climbed up there anyway! I do think it was totally worth it, good eye Kaitlyn!!….. the things you do for love. 😉
