Oh how we love these two! Meet Brittany & Wyatt, another one of our Fabulous Chicago couples. Joe and I were so incredibly excited to shoot this wedding… not only are Brittany & Wyatt an awesome couple they truly are the nicest, kind, honest, and caring people you will ever meet! They really have hearts of gold and we felt so lucky to be part of their special day!! This lovely couple was married at the beautiful St. Hugo of the Hills Church in Bloomfield Hills, MI with a reception following at the exquisite Reserve in downtown Birmingham, MI. It was a gorgeous day filled with so much love and emotion, I know a lot of great memories were made!!

Ok. I’m reviving this blog starting today! 🙂 It’s crazy how quickly an entire year can fly by without you realizing it…. 2014 was definitely a whirlwind for us which didn’t give us much time to update or share any of our weddings and events. So, with the start of Spring I thought it would be a perfect time to share some of the highlights from 2014. We were so fortunate to have awesome couples last year so to start the season off right here are a few of our faves from Sarah & Scott’s beautiful wedding held in Belmont, MI.

This adorable Chicago couple’s original plan was to have a beautiful outdoor ceremony with all photos following …they picked a venue and crossed their fingers it wouldn’t rain! The week of the wedding Sarah and I watched the weather forecast pretty closely as it was predicting a slow moving storm! So, after many conversations, we switched up the timeline and shooting locations. I’m SO glad we did, as it down POURED during their ceremony! Rebecca (she is awesome) with Ideal Events & Design quickly moved everything inside, not exactly what they had envisioned but it really didn’t matter where it was… They were just so happy to get married!! Rain does not have to ruin your wedding day as long as you have a plan B!! Ok. Onto the pics!:)
