When Joe’s cousin Rachel asked me to photograph her wedding I was super excited, especially when she told me the ceremony was going to be held at the beautiful Rose Garden in Frankenmuth, MI. The weather was touch and go all morning, but just before the ceremony the clouds parted and the sun shined as Rachel walked down the isle. Thanks you two for sharing your special day with us. I’m SO excited to finally post a few images from Lee & Liz’s wedding! Joe and I had so much fun working with this couple. All the details were simply beautiful! Liz chose orchids which are one of my favorite flowers ever!! They were married in the beautiful St Roberts Church in Ada, MI and the reception was held downtown at the Bridgewater building. I loved working with the very talented Nancy and Valerie from RSVP bridal consulting, they did a phenomenal job planning this wedding! With that being said, I’m going to keep this short and sweet.. ok, now on to the pictures! 😉

The art of tattooing has always interested me. It’s origins date back to over 5,000 yrs ago and each tattoo is as unique and interesting as the person that wears them. So when my friend and colleague, Gigi asked me to photograph her most recent ink, which btw has been a year in the making, I was totally excited. This beautiful piece was created by Scotty Kellogg with Fine Art Tattoos out of Cedar Springs MI.
