Her words: The whole story included dinner at a swanky place in Georgetown, a private tour of the U.S. Capitol with a congressman and getting engaged on a private balcony of the Capitol overlooking all of DC… Now doesn’t that sound romantic?!!! Meet Andy & Jess. This couple is sooo sweet and were so much fun to work with! When Jess and I first started talking I knew right away we were going to get along… not only is she super sweet, funny, and smart she has a heart of gold! And Andy is nothing short of amazing himself.. they are so perfect for one another!

We shot their engagement session here in Grand Rapids. Jess had all her locations picked out, she is so organized- I love that! I must admit I was a little nervous about the weather since it was raining all morning, but the clouds parted and the sun peeked out just in time for their session. It ended up being a beautiful day!

Thank you both for such a fun afternoon- we can’t wait for your wedding this fall! You two are the BEST!! 😉
